Our values set the bar. Every day.

Need headline here.

Our values aren't a vision or aspirations. They're the operating standard for how accounts are run, how feedback gets delivered, how mistakes get handled, and how we decide when to push back on a direction we don't believe in.

Annie Duke, our Director of Product & Training, said it directly: “Our mission and values are not simply a series of platitudes inscribed on a plaque somewhere. They are a prescription for how we treat our clients and each other on a daily basis.” That's the bar.

Behind all six values.

Data — not hunches, not creative instinct, not platform marketing — is the real key to digital marketing success. Every value is an expression of that belief in a different context. It's been our foundation since 2008, and it's not changing.

Do what it takes to deliver excellent results

The work doesn't stop when it gets inconvenient. If an account needs attention outside business hours, it gets it. If a recommendation isn't working, we say so and adjust. Excellent results aren't delivered at the pitch — they're built in the day-to-day.

Communicate directly and honestly

We tell clients the truth, even when it's uncomfortable. We set the same standard for our internal communication. Daniel Vardi has been at (un)Common Logic since 2011, and the way he describes this value is the most accurate: “even when it's hard to do so.”

One client wrote: “There's always a clear why behind what they do.” That's what direct communication produces — and why our 81% client retention rate is what it is.

Have the right attitude

Be helpful, supportive, and willing to lend a hand outside your lane. The right attitude doesn’t mean cheerfulness — it means showing up for the team and the client when the situation is messy. When Austin had its 2021 winter weather event, Barbara Cavness opened her home to the team for showers and shelter. That's this value in action.

Do what you say you're going to do

Commitments are real. If we say it'll be done by Thursday, it's done by Thursday. If something changes, we say so before you have to ask. This is the value clients cite most often in reviews, and the one that's easiest to measure: did we do what we said?

Do the right thing

When the ethical path and the easy path diverge, we take the ethical one. That means giving clients credit for outcomes they drove, naming mistakes when we make them, and not gaming metrics to make a report look better than the account actually performed. It occasionally means telling a prospect we're not the right fit — which is harder than it sounds, but is always worth it in the long run.

Always learn and try new things

We adopt tools and approaches when it’s supported by evidence on real accounts. We don't chase every platform announcement, and we don't stay still either. Every week, the whole team meets and shares what they've learned from actual account work. That rhythm is the value in practice.

“I'm as honest as they come.”

Barbara has been CEO of (un)Common Logic since 2014. She joined in 2010, back when the agency was still 360Partners. Her take on the job: create the vision, get the team excited about executing it, and get out of the way.

Recognition that reflects how we work.

Not every award says something real. These do.

Top Workplace in Austin winner 11 times — and counting.

(un)Common Logic has been named a Top Workplace in Austin 11 times. No other agency in the city has won it more than once.

The award comes from the Austin-American Statesman and is based entirely on anonymous employee surveys. It’s based on what the people doing the work actually say about working here — it’s not a submission from leadership, and it’s not a perks list.

Our employee retention rate is 82%. The Top Workplace recognition and the retention number are measuring the same thing from different angles. Both tell you that people who come here stay — and that they're glad they did.

Google Premier Partner — top 3% of agencies worldwide.

(un)Common Logic is a Google Premier Partner, placing us in the top 3% of agencies globally. The designation is re-evaluated annually based on account performance, not agency size or ad spend volume.

In practice, that means you get direct support access, early access to new features, and a team Google has independently verified is running accounts at a high level. The annual re-evaluation means the status is earned every year, not carried over.
